Magdalene is a professional Belly Dancer and Instructor. She has been teaching since 2004 and currently dances with the "semi-nationally known" troupe Belly Revelations in Raleigh North Carolina. She has taught belly dancers from four years old to over 80!
Belly dance classes are an excellent moving meditation and help to improve self-esteem, body image, and over-all health and fitness. It is considered a weight-bearing exercise and is generally considered safe for all ages. Belly Dance is a dance that works with rather than against a woman's natural bone and muscle structure.

Get a full-body, aerobic work-out while learning the graceful, powerful art of belly dance. Classes warm up and cool down with yoga and pilates based exercises. Burn calories, get fit, learn a dance with ancient roots, and improve your body as well as your self-esteem. Belly dance is fun for women of all ages, sizes, shapes, and abilities. Please where comfortable clothes. Dance shoes or bare feet is preferred, but comfortable shoes are welcome. Bare mid-drift is not required.Students may choose to wear hip scarves, coin belts, etc. that gets them in the dancing mood.

This lunch time class teaches begining belly dance and incorporates yoga and pilates streatches for increased flexibility, strength, and muscle control. This class is an intense workout that gives students a good foundational understanding of the basic moves of belly dance.
